Summer Solstice Oracle: Beyond the Horizon
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, the peak of solar energy - I’m purposely publishing this as the sun sets in my neck of the woods. It felt like the right moment to sit down with the Oracle of the 7 Energies and ask what’s unfolding for us between now and the end of summer.
Let’s get right to it…

THE CARDS
The first three cards I drew were:
45 Beyond the Ordinary
34 Opening to Discovery
36 Seeing Beyond

Did you catch the thread running through all three? This isn’t a reading about where you currently stand, it’s a glimpse of what’s waiting just past the horizon.
This is an invitation to step away from familiar limits, old identities, and well-worn paths.
Summer usually brings thoughts of adventure and forward motion, but this felt like something deeper, something within you is ready to be discovered and you’ll find it in the coming months!
The Sun, which rules this season, illuminates and… side bar comment, I’m being told to add the tarot card for reference and maybe a deeper dive if you want to study the meaning of this card.
Okay, back to what I was saying before the nudge…
The sun reveals what was hidden. So don’t be surprised if you find yourself pulled toward new opportunities, creative sparks, unexpected interests, or even a crossroads that asks something of you that forces you to become more authentic and intentional.
The question this season poses is “what lights me up?” and that question lives in the solar plexus - our center of confidence, identity, and personal power.
This energy is asking you to become more fully YOURSELF. And then when that shift happens, your relationships naturally shift with it.
Maybe you’ve been sacrificing parts of yourself to make others more comfortable or pushing a passion to the side because you aren’t confident enough that you’ll be good at it.
This is the season to get buck naked like that (inner) child on that white horse on the Tarot card and bask in your full glory. Express yourself!

These cards reveal what’s on the other side of the top three cards. It’s a natural continuation of the story that begins now. When you meet yourself more honestly, you naturally bring that honesty into your relationships too.
Tender Embrace speaks to compassion, vulnerability, and emotional closeness. For some, that might mean healing an old wound with someone, having the heartfelt conversation you’ve been putting off, or deepening a bond that already matters to you. For others, it’s simply learning to show up more openly for the people in your life.
The Land Between sits at the center of this trio, the HEART of the reading. It’s the bridge between who you were and who you’re becoming, and many of us will spend part of this Summer right here, in that in-between. Not who we used to be but not yet who we’re becoming. The reading asks you not to rush through that uncertainty. It beckons you to trust it, because growth tends to happen in the transition.
The finale is A Grand Symphony. I love what this one adds.
The beauty of a symphony isn’t found in sameness. It’s found in each instrument honoring its unique voice while serving something larger than itself.
That’s the promise threaded through this whole spread; as you gain clarity about yourself and deepen your connections, life starts arranging itself into harmony and thus brings about more balance.
THE NUMBERS
One more layer worth mentioning is the numerology behind the spread.
The top row (45, 34, 36) all reduce down to the number 9 (4+5=9, 3+4=7, 3+6=9) and the numbers, 3, 4 are repeated twice.
That’s a strong, unmistakable thread of self expression, work and completion running throughout this reading.
Single Number Meanings:
3 = self expression, creativity, personal power
4 = structure, foundation, work
5 = change, travel, momentum
6 = responsibility, home, community
7 = spiritual enlightenment, discovery, study
9 = endings, wisdom earned through experience, closing of meaningful chapters
The remaining three cards (22, 40, 27) carry the energy of:
0 = conception (this is what comes after endings, the conception of new ideas and the birth of possibilities)
2 = relationships, collaboration and partnerships
4 = structure, foundation, the steady work of building something that lasts
7 = (again) spiritual enlightenment, discovery, study
9 = endings, completion, accomplishments
And 22 is a master number in numerology, often called the “master builder” - it carries the energy of turning a dream into something tangible, which feels exactly right for Tender Embrace and the relationships we’re being asked to build more consciously.
As old cycles close, you’re also being asked to look inward and then construct something real from what you find.
BEE ENERGY
I keep seeing this image of a bee in my minds eye, in fact it’s been a synchronicity running through my life the past week. The bee doesn’t just enjoy the flowers, it gathers, builds, and participates in creation. Its abundance comes from purposeful effort.
That’s the energy here.
You may be shown new possibilities this season, but they’ll likely ask something of you in return; participation, commitment, and follow-through 🐝
The discoveries arriving now aren’t meant to stay as ideas, they’re meant to become something more real. By the time Autumn arrives, what felt like a season of exploration may turn out to have been a season of preparation.

The Land Between feels like the heart of this reading to me.
In Processwork, the new part of us often appears long before it can be clearly named. It may first show up as a dream image, an unexpected fascination, a disturbing figure, or an impulse that does not yet fit the person we know ourselves to be.
